I just wanted to remind everyone that our games are free for educators to use in the classroom! If you are taking a physics class, let your teacher know that SimplePlanes and SimpleRockets 2 are great ways to demonstrate physics concepts.
Since starting this program, nearly 300 schools have opted in and well over 30,000 free licenses have been requested. We've heard many great things over the years about how teachers are using our games in the classroom. They lend themselves well to teaching physics concepts and students seem to enjoy them. Fundamental concepts such as velocity, acceleration, gravity, lift, drag, etc can easily be demonstrated with an airplane or a rocket hurtling through the atmosphere at hypersonic speeds and that has a way of grabbing and maintaining a student's attention. SimpleRockets 2 goes a step further and can demonstrate advanced concepts such as orbital mechanics and many other rocket science concepts.
If you are an educator, just visit this page and click the Submit Request button. After we review your request, you will be given access to the downloads page where you can freely download our games for Windows and Mac.
If you are a student, help spread the word and let your teachers know!
@Collopiw ok bro no advertising
@DatPorscheGuy15 same
@MrOrangePellets777 I wish my school did
Schools use this?

@RepublicOfCursedPlanes epic
@114514smellyman However, are you a primary school student
When I was 9 my primary school organised a course that involved this, it was how I even got to know about SimplePlanes in the first place
@ReinMcDeer scratch, just too boring. Man, it’s better because now you don’t have to spend too much on real models. You could use SP for modeling your plane, and (just like cars) then take the plane model, and move it to reality.
@Stephen Envy, too envious
@JacksEpicGaming no I think a teacher has to request the game to get it for free
@klm747klm747 its really unfortunate how there are pirated games out there. I mean, I know some can't afford games, but... Like, how will devs earn money off it right? Unity Pro, which Jundroo uses, is quite expensive. And they most probably use Adobe and some other software that cost money when making/changing the game
@V 。
@Haikuotiankong it is EXTREMELY hard to get a video game into the chinese market, and there are hundreds of strict guidelines that this game has to follow. also, if they want to have a website for the game to upload to, it has to be a chinese based website, that has to undergo extremely strict moderation. it is not a financially smart idea for the devs to do a chinese version. as chinese servers, to my knowledge, are expensive as hell, and the devs already have 3 websites and two communities. adding another website and community is just a money sink for where profit never returns.
Ok but why is this everywhere lmao
Can I add a Chinese version Because of this, more than 10% of the website is Chinese
Hey Andrew, can we have another tournament after the update comes out?the last one we had was... Uh... (Checks calendar) more than one and a half years ago!
