Now introducing the Sky Cup Tournaments!

Every week, we will hold an official racing tournament in SimplePlanes. Submit any of your planes, and we will test its design against a plane from another participant. Both will be controlled by AI, and we will run the simulation here at our office. Earn points for each toe-to-toe match you win. Only the winner moves on. In the end there can be only one.

Rules

• Submit your own designs. Predecessors from a design of another player will not be allowed.
• You can only submit one plane per tournament. Choose your best.
• To keep your plane a secret, you may submit an unlisted plane. However, that plane will become visible to the public once the tournament begins.
• Each tournament will be unique, with its own set of rules. Any violation will result in disqualification.

Rewards

• The winner of each match will receive a 50 point bonus.
• Both planes that face off in the final match will receive a 150 point bonus.
• The Sky Cup winner will be awarded a 500 point bonus.

Disclaimer

There may be a cap for the maximum number of participants. If more than 128 people submit a plane, we are considering a preliminary qualifying round to find the top 128 designs that will race for the Sky Cup.
