SimplePlanes is going the extra mile to bring your designs to life, from digital to physical.
3D printed in full-color sandstone, your favorite creation will become a real-world model aircraft. Showcase your best work in the office, workshop, game room, or your secret underground lair.
We partnered with EUCL3D, a devoted team that specializes in manufacturing unique gaming merchandise, customized and truly one-of-a-kind. They exist to assist gamers who find it difficult to locate great collectibles, beyond the typical t-shirt, mug, or bumper sticker.
As an extra special bonus gift, each order will be shipped with biodegradable packing peanuts, which dissolve in water. If you want more peanuts, you must order more planes.
HOW TO ORDER A EUCL3D PLANE:
If you are interested in owning a materialized token of your own talent and genius, load up your handiwork in SimplePlanes.
Order a print of your model-to-be inside the game, conveniently accessible in the plane designer menu. For better detail, watch this quick easy video that walks you through a print order.
This feature is currently only available for the PC version on Steam and GOG. We plan to update the mobile versions of the game soon, as well as add an option to print any plane on the website itself.
If it’s a bigger model does it get more peanuts?
I have a question I am on mobile now when I export the file of the plane it works normally... But how big is the plane gonna be?
@AndrewGarrison Am I able to 3D Print something on Mobile?
Oh wait they can actually 3D print their own airplane or mech
@AndrewGarrison i wanqqqqq. why.. can you try to 3D Print my DC-3?
@CDRxavier thanks a lot
@Speedhunter
BUT, as long as you can get your hand onto any of the 3D printers (and beleive me, there are more 3D printing retailers than there are stores selling Simpleplanes)
Try Amazon, or E-bay.
@AndrewGarrison Ok thanks
@Speedhunter No, unfortunately, I don't know of any that do that anymore.
@AndrewGarrison do you know a store that sells 3d printers? I really need one
@CDRxavier please 3d print my unlisted oceanjet
@joeysellers
Actually it would be great if I have the sfl format or obj file or whatever file
I OWN A 3D PRINTER!!
And it is currently eating dust...
Oh man, they just closed down!
@AndrewGarrison ah, gotcha. I bought a couple models from them and their work was very impressive. Thanks anyways!
@Chemicalau No, unfortunately, I'm not aware of any other places that will 3D print planes. EUCL3D had to manually adjust each order to make sure it fit the requirements of their printers. They would fatten up wings, or any section that was too thin. Quite laborious, but well done. It really is unfortunate that they weren't able to secure funding for the next round. Great guys.
@joeysellers and @AndrewGarrison
EUCL3D was great and I'm sorry to hear they're no longer in business. Is there any other 3D printing service available for these planes? I just tried Sculpteo, but unfortunately they need at least a 2mm thickness for all dimensions (which doesn't work for most planes). Thanks!
Oh my god it is a pigpen! (gasp!)
@ZephyrSystems I saw a fricking ICBM and the pigpen
is it out yet
Will a makerbot replicator 2x be able to print a plane?
