Our online community here is amazing. So, we invested our time in making things better on this website for everybody, with the primary intention to help newer players get discovered.

USER PAGE BIO

Introduce yourself to the community! Leave a small blurb about who you are, your hobbies and interests, a link to your other social media, a dank meme, an ancient proverb, or quote a celebrity like Kevin Spacey. When others visit your page, the first thing they'll notice is your bio, so make a good first impression.

There will also be a link on your page to list all the players you are following. By default, this list will be set to private. You must opt in to show the community who you personally value as high quality designers.

You can no longer change your name. It is still possible, but we disabled this feature due to abuse. To change your name, use the contact form from the footer and let us know what you want your new name to be, and why you want a new name. We will be gracious this first week or so, but we will no longer permit players to change usernames on a whim.

FOLLOWING USERS

From your notifications page, you can now easily navigate through all of the designs from the players you are following. Arranged in thumbnails like the front page, every new upload will appear as new until you view them. Instead of wading through everybody's designs, customize your own personal JET STREAM feed, showing only the designs from your favorite players.

SPOTLIGHTING

Quoting Kevin Spacey: "I feel it's a responsibility for anyone who breaks through a certain ceiling... to send the elevator back down and give others a helpful lift."

When you happen upon an amazing design from another player, you can now spotlight that design. A notification will be sent to all of your followers. You can only spotlight players who have less points than you.

FORUMS

The forum will no longer be a hot mess of spaghetti. Posts will now be sorted by their tags into categories. This should help you find what interests you, and weed out the posts you dislike. Posts may have multiple tags and appear in multiple categories, but we will not tolerate users who abuse the system with unrelated tags for their posts.

In other words, how this works: if you do not care to read another "FEELINGS" post with somebody crying for attention by pretending to leave, avoid that tag's category. If you want to find good tutorials, videos, or role-playing posts, it is much easier to dig down deep into those categories. This should help prevent future drama, or at the very least, filter it out for you. Speaking of which...

USER BLOCKING

Not every personality meshes well with others. If you feel bullied or annoyed, or simply dislike the attitude of another player who is freely offering you their unwelcome criticism, you can now shut that toxic behavior down yourself, without needing an intervention from a mod or a dev.

Find this option to block other players in the the drop-down menu on their comment.

Blocking works both ways. They can no longer comment on your designs or posts, and you cannot comment on theirs. Also, mentioning a blocked player will not send them a notification. Blocking others is relatively discrete. You will only discover that you are blocked when submitting a comment after being blocked; a prompt will inform you that you are blocked from interacting with that user.

We will not tolerate any form of retaliation in response to being blocked. Do not post about it, comment about it, or try to circumvent the block to contact that player again. If you have been blocked, be a better person and simply move on with your life.
