@Sm10684 as I said, I’m using my senior year class as an example. Some of them are pretty smart, but almost everyone agrees that there are a lot of people who are straight-up idiots (or at least act like one, meaning they’re only doing it in public, and since I can’t actually know them privately, I only know their public side).
@Zoomzoom999 And the problem I see is people get rewards (attention, friends, and especially dopamine) for acting like complete idiots, and typically make fun of people who don’t (who, generally, are people of higher intellect), and that sets them up for failure in the real world, as they’ll still be acting like idiots in college, if they even make it that far (I’m using my class this year for my personal example, and these thoughts may not personally reflect you, the reader, if you do this, and I understand. These are concerns that I personally have with the direction humanity is going, and how technology can be abused through such ways.)
Yup, I think it has to do with all of this cultural convergence/intermixing. With a lot of information going around like wildfire, some stupid person would make a stupid meme such as VSCO Girl, and the whole thing would go viral with everyone acting like complete idiots! @Thelegitpilot13
