I found the Americans apart of the Deutschland’s crew in the ship’s bar today. I was concerned at first, they were all drinking and singing sad and slow songs. I guess I would never fully understand their emotions, I am a German, this is not the anniversary of a terrorist attack on my nation. For us, it was a millennium ago, most other nations forgot about what happened in 2001, but the Americans never did. I guess that is just another thing to show their pride for their nation, a pride I never fully felt for mine, a nation with a dark history. I can’t imagine what General Finke is going through right now, he was around back then. The thousand year old man, still grief stricken for what happened. He always referred to it as “the day the world was grounded”, a little dramatic to me but it was true. Civilian aircraft was grounded across the American airspace. Fighters were scrambled, but never made it to New York or Washington DC in time, the confusion over the radio saw to that. I listened to some of the recordings from on board the planes, it was heartbreaking, even for me. I almost cried if it wasn’t for the doctor rushing in to tell me about some breakthrough. I’ll let them have the day to themselves, it’s the least I can do right now.
Author's Note: On a serious note, I figured I should do something today. I am an American, and even though I didn't lose anyone that day, it still makes me sad that so many others lost their lives. Today my best wishes go out to those who lost family members that day and I will never forget those who gave everything to save others.
@CaptainEssen
Ok. The Agamemnon will be useful in regular service in the meantime.
@TheFantasticTyphoon
We may halt all expeditions for now. If we want to go further, we need to develop a new jump drive for the trident fighters. Even with the proper resources, that could take more than a year to do.

Never forget...
@CaptainEssen
We are standing by.
@TheFantasticTyphoon
Well we had a chance to pull the main reactor out and take a proper look at it. The reactor casing was replaced, now all we need is the solarium to jump start it.
It seems like anything that happens to us, we never forget it. The Alamo, Pearl Harbor, and now September 11th, 2001... All moments where the men and women who were called upon served to the end... May they Rest In Peace... Never forget...
@CaptainEssen
How are the repairs to the Deutschland coming along?
The Agamemnon is operational once more.
@CaptainEssen
I've seen the footage.
@TheFantasticTyphoon
I know, but I did actually listen to the recordings of the phone calls from those planes, it was terrible.
Post number six.
