The crew of the Deutschland has woke me up from my sleep so they can figure out if this bomb! Yes, they thought it was a good idea to bring a bomb into the fort! I think someone said it was nuclear! They want me to determine where the uranium is from. What they don’t realize is that locating where uranium is from IS rocket science. Essen could not wait until 6:00 a.m instead of 2 a.m! I wonder if the man even sleeps? If the new reactor could work I could perhaps get us home and I would never step foot on another Galactic Fleet ship ever again!

Okay, now that I have done my rant, time to get to work. First I need a sample of the nuclear material so I can determine its composition. From there, I should be able to compare it to other samples from uranium mines around the world. Essen has told me the Deutschland’s AI can get me the information. What did they name it? Julie was it? Maybe it was Jackie? Oh I don’t know, those computers shouldn’t be given names anyway, they’re just machines. Don’t tell Essen I said that. It was Juliet, that’s what Essen named his AI. It shocks me that the man is that into theater.

So I exaggerated earlier, it really isn’t rocket science. I just don’t understand why they couldn’t do it themselves. Well, after I determined the material composition, I realized that the bomb was a fake. The uranium was depleted, meaning that the bomb was never going to result in a nuclear explosion. Whoever designed and built this thing really didn’t know what they were doing.

I’ve done it! I know where the uranium came from! It came from, Nevada? Wait I just realized how stupid that sounds. How did this terrorist group get uranium out of the middle of the United States? I’ll let Essen figure that out, I need to get some more sleep. Doctor Williams is signing off.
