The SWS Furious set off on a mission to destroy any BoC units it came across. At 15:31 it detected a pair of destroyers escorting a large merchant vessel. A RSD.1 Nemesis drone was launched to gain visual identification and discovered that the merchantman was in fact flagged as a Warburg vessel. With this knowledge the Furious's captain opened fire.

Two missiles struck one destroyer, disabling it. The other destroyer fired a volley of six cruise missiles at Furious, five of which were intercepted by SAMs. The sixth missile slammed into the superstructure, but by huge luck failed to detonate.

The SWS Furious turned and fired a pair of torpedoes at the charging destroyer, scoring one hit. The SWS Furious then quickly despatched the two vessels with anti-ship missiles.

A boarding party in a RIB was sent across to the Warburg merchant vessel and boarded the ship. Fifteen Brotherhood sailors were killed in the ensuing gunfight and twelve Warburg crewmen were rescued. Two had evidently been tortured during their imprisonment. The ship, the USS Medusa, was carrying three million barrels of oil, half a ton of uranium and ammunition for railguns. The vessel has docked in NovrdLisch for repairs and will return to the United States of Warburg once the crew have recuperated. The SWS Furious has also returned to port to undergo repairs and have a short refit.
