Our fleet sailed into the harbor, picking off any warship that came close. The Deutschland crept out of the early morning fog with a sense of unyielding authority. I felt great pride seeing our flag flying high above the rest. The enemy’s military struggled in the streets as the people panicked. Our mission is to infiltrate the president’s palace, we already escaped into the jungle. The living conditions on the island were terrible for the average civilian. Essen told us not to make contact until we had the president pleading for mercy.

October 3, 2019 7:00 a.m.
It’s go time. We snuck around the back and quickly took out the guards. The time frame was small but doable. After storming through the back kitchen, we made our way to the grand hall. The place was well decorated with green and blue banners, marble pillars, and multiple statues and paintings. The guards never stood a chance, they thought they were safe from us, no one is safe from us. Charging up the stairs, a grenade flew at us and landed at our feet. The grenade exploded in a flash of bright white light. The Lieutenant laughed as he stood from our position on the stairs and dispatched the last of the guards with brutal efficiency and precision. The door to the master bedroom was locked. We gave our flag, the flag for our alliance, to the others while I handled the president with the Lieutenant.

Captain Essen is having a long “talk” with the president. As expected the military surrendered as soon as they saw their flag replaced by ours above the palace. Medical teams were only needed at the palace, Essen never ordered for it but the rest of us agreed that we should keep them nearby just in case Essen gets too rough.

October 4, 2019 4:45 p.m.
The mine was mostly abandoned when we got there. The place acted as a submarine base as well. We were almost shocked by the extent of the base, it would take days to fully clear it. Multiple cargo crates were left over and most of the base records were still left over. The mine was used to gather uranium and the nation we invaded made the nukes but Essen pointed out a more recent document labeled Project Ares. We learned that there was a stowaway on board the Deutschland, studying the reactor and the thruster engines. The reasons why are unknown, it said that the spy snuck out about a week ago and the rest of the document is missing. Essen is going to convene with our allies to plan our next move.

This is the SWS Agamemnon. We have just been attacked in the ocean off the Krakabola by six BoC raiding craft, powered by rather crude copies of the Deutschland's thrusters. They hit us with four torpedoes, which did little damage but disabled a communications mast. We then destroyed four of their craft with our railguns, but two have escaped. We require assistance in hunting them down as soon as possible.

I'm deploying the following ships to the island:
SWS Indefatigable.
SWS Eagle.
SWS Avenger.
SWS Campbeltown.
SWS Conveyor.
SWS Hammerwood.
SWS Defiant.
Four torpedo boats.
Four minesweepers.
We'll also set up an airfield to fly in troops. After two weeks to build up an significant ground force the Task Force will return to NovrdLisch.

At this point there is nothing we can do onboard the Deutschland other than changing the security patrols and I think it's time to expand our Galactic Marine corp to allow citizens from your nations to join, we are very short handed.
