As of right now, my tank turret is controlled by the VTOL Slider and the Gun Elevation is controlled by the Trim slider.

My question is would the players rather see the movements be controlled by the Turret Control Mod or stay the way it is?

I know not everybody can download mods and that would make it so that they could operate the Tank however, I think the mouse control is useful and I could allocate the Sliders to other functions.
