So yeah, I flew a Cessna 172 today! I say another in the title cause a flew one last year too. Now normally, I wouldn't have posted this, but since I know how to post pictures now, I included today's and last year's pics in this post!
Last Year's Photos:
This Year's Photos:
I'll be adding more photos from today, I just need to transfer them from my New Phone!! to my IPad. (Yes I got a phone, it took 15 years but I've finally got one! It's got 32Gs, can run 1,500+ parts on SimplePlanes, which is huge upgrade from the usual 350 parts I can run on my iPad, and I already have a case, and a screen protector for it too. I just got it yesterday, so its brand spankin' new too!)
@stig27 thanks! That really is a beautiful Cessna Citation, isn't it?
Last year.@AWESOMENESS360
I have 3 congratulations to give: On the flying time you got, on the beautiful aircrafts you've shared with us here, and for your new phone!
@MrSilverWolf they didn't say specifically, but if I had to guess, it was an N-Model.
@Theflyingtrex wow, mine is an iPhone 7 and it isn't as good as yours!
@Jerba which one, the photo from last year or this year?
@klm747klm747 nice!
Nice! That a 172N, M or S?
No, its an iphone 6s + but my internet is amazing @AWESOMENESS360
That quarry looks like the one in forza horizon 4.
@AWESOMENESS360 Very cool! I am learning to fly currently on a Cessna 150, N9197U.
@AWESOMENESS360 I saw it is very expensive for my taste, but I loved that 1960 Mooney (N3BV) . 1200 lb of joy 😎
@Viper3000ad it's actually one of the only places around where I live that you can do this. I forgot to mention this in the description, but what they'll do is have you sign a contract, and a pilot will take off for you, and then they'll allow you to pilot the aircraft along a set course. Obviously they land the plane too, but for the most part you are flying the plane yourself! Yes, the pilot does instruct you on what to do, but it's still really cool to do.
And yes, there are some lovely aircraft at their airport too, for instance, there's that beautiful Cessna Citation X in the hangar, I just absolutely love that thing! I doubt I'm old enough to actually get an amateur pilot's license, but it's a good thought to keep in mind, I guess.
@Mattangi2 lol, clearly.
@AWESOMENESS360 well you have an impressive airport there, this is not like a typical aeroclub in Europe . I saw small jets and twins , fantastic opportunity for someone to get his amateur pilot licence.
I believe that what you have done in your nice experience is like an addiction flight. In my local aeroclub even in these you complete a flight plan and do all the checklist procedures with your instructor.
Now all you need to take your fist light sport category diploma is 39 more hours .
I am impressed, no one comment anything on the actual flight or the club. So strange...
These photos are fake. Chernobyl is clearly visible in some of the pictures, but Chernobyl was destroyed
@QingyuZhou it's ok!
Okay cool, my bad prediction lol @AWESOMENESS360
@QingyuZhou southeastern Pennsylvania, in Schwenksville.
Those pics are great yet looks very Midwest... where do you live?
@Armyguy1534 sounds pretty cool!
@AWESOMENESS360 it is a volunteer organization but we always do flights
@MrPorg137 yep, we actually have lots of quarries, in fact, you can actually hear when they detonate their high explosives when clearing out an area, it's that loud!
@Armyguy1534 cool! Is it like an actual job or is it just an event?
@JamesBoA thanks!
