The SWS Upholder has returned to NovrdLisch on board the Warburg heavy lift ship Scorpion. The New Albany-class frigate was severely damaged after striking a magnetic mine that had drifted from a minefield laid during the Saltwater-Halcyon War. Twenty crew members died and thirty were injured. The vessel lost all power, as well as half its lifeboats. We expect the Upholder to return to active duty after around six months repair.

The Saltwater Carrier Nation would like to officially thank the Conegsreich Republic and the United States of Warburg for assisting the ship throughout this incident. Without you many more crew members would have died and the SWS Upholder may well have been lost.

Efforts will be made to secure the minefield and prevent any further mines from drifting. Three Archer-class minesweepers have been dedicated to the task, which will take around a month to complete.

The ships involved are vessels that were created and built in SP. For example the SWS Upholder is a New Albany-class frigate, which was posted a month or two ago by Strikefighter04.

Likely a submarine releasing divers from a distance. Any closer and it would have detonated the mines. However, we can be sure.

The SWS December is returning to base with two deactivated mines on board. They were laid by the Saltwater Air Force but it seems that the Brotherhood of Chaos had cut their chains.
Save several deactivated mines for investigation. I want to see everything.
