Depending on the size of the ship, add engines in the front and rear for forward-backward movement, then XML mod a gyro to be stronger in the yaw factor and to not have any roll or pitch, unless you want the nice realistic lean, then input the yaw strength to the max.

Use an XML modded gyro that has strong yaw. No roll, no pitch, just yaw.
