The way I power them is useing very fuel efficient jet engines.
Shout out to those that use rotors its cool.

Regarding anything I make that is electric

Don't aircraft carriers that use nuclear work on gas? I thought that the radioactive material heated up water to steam (which Is water in gas phase) that then goes through a turbine generating electricity. And then the planes just have fake engines, decorations while the real source of propulsion are pistons and air brakes inside the body of the plane. So does it really count as an electric plane if the engines on it dont actually do anything?
@RU
@Joshie Hey your back
I haven’t blocked you, I’ve just deleted my comments because I was spamming this forum, you should do the same too @randomusername
Aircroft, long time no see old friend
@CrashFighter05 np nice to know I'm not the only one
@AircroftDesigin oh I know how to make it / something similar. Thanks though!
@CrashFighter05 if you want I can give you a few of mine
If I made my own "electric" motor, it would be like yours
@randomusername also, good point
@randomusername yea, but there are a lot of different ways to make those too. I'm not saying yours are bad, they're probably one of the best, if not the best non vanilla engines.since missiles and bullets are not as practical. But that doesnt mean you have to go tell everyone that theirs arent as good or that they shouldnt call their planes what they want.
Just advertise your planes well and the engines especially, so that when people who have used your planes try other planes that claim to be electrical they'll just think to themselves "Ooh this isnt as good as RU's engines, I prefer those.
@randomusername Well then technically yours arent electric either, right? There simply isnt any electricity in the game. And I never denied that your engines were electric until now, so stop playing the victim card. I think I will deny it now though, since we have to go with the games logic. And well, there is not any electricity at all in the game. With the exception of the magnets, ofcourse. But t
Do those even count? You can attack one to just a cockpit and they'd work. The game is SimplePlanes, because it's simple. The dev's dont want the magnets to stop working because they would use electricity irl.
Basically, either multiple ways of making a plane "electric" counts as an electric plane, or none do. Since there isnt electricity in the game, but people can up with their own concepts and ideas. And since you vote for the option of concepts or ideas, others airplanes should also count as being electric.
@randomusername I dont know why you are so offended by all this. I know that it does not have batteries. What I am saying I'd that you can modify the scale, mass and ammount of fuel of the fuel block part to the equivalent of a battery. So that it is as heavy as the same size battery, and can power an engine for the same ammount of time, basically creating something similar to a battery. In sp it's not like the engines work realistically, the fuel basically only says hoe long the engine can be powered on. It doesnt do all the things that the fuel does irl, like it doesnt combust inside the engine etc. It just says how long the engine can keep rotating. And we know the fuel is way more energy dense than batteries, but if you XML mod it well enough the properties can be similar. I really do not know why you get so offended by me explaining an idea for hoe other people could build an "electric" plane. It doesnt really matter how people do it there isnt any electricity in them at all either way, nor is there real fuel in any regular aircraft in this game. The fuel simply represents for hoe long you can fly. 50% fuel could be a 50% charged battery if all the fuel blocks and engines are modified to have the equivalent stats of a battery. Like if you do some research and find out the energy density, size and mass. And then hoe much power an electric engine takes, then modify the simpleplanes ones to be very similar. So you can fly for the same ammount of time etc.
@randomusername I'm not saying that they need fuel. Or even need batteries. Just that the current electric planes we have have batteries and solar cells and that the fuel in game could basically show how much power the batteries have left because of the battery %. The fuel block pretty much work as whatever fuel source you want them, just not energy density wise. So it is probably possible to mod them to have the same mass and energy density as batteries. And then the game would show how much % of energy they have left.
I also didnt say anything about the thing that you cant call yours electric, you can call them whatever you want. And you should definently be able to call them that, and you have the energy sources you mentioned. I was just sayI g that every "electric" plane on this site shouldnt have to use the same source just to be called electric.
@randomusername but it doesnt mean all the planes would have to use one of those, right?
@randomusername I googled the first one and apparently it's what they use on satellites and whatnot. So that's pretty cool I guess.
@randomusername I have not
@AircroftDesigin I fo think it should count as electric :3 since there isnt really a way to make one. Because what about batteries? So yeah, it makes sense to use fuel as a replacement for them. It just says how much juice you have left.
@randomusername I understand your proud of it and you should be but I an unwilling to change if anyone asks I am willing to explain.
Thank you happy flying ~ Kane
@randomusername Oh and instant power
@randomusername I'm on a crappy android device ever since wheels came out when I made my first electric car that's the way I did it I have looked at your builds and tried to replicate a few of your techqunices but I have never uploaded them as I was not happy with them
Useing fuel efficient engines comes with 2 advantages 1 no noise 2 require very little fuel
