The SWS Chieftain's Visit

The SWS Chieftain and the SWS Hammerwood have spent three days in the Conegsreich Republic as part of a goodwill tour. A formal dinner was hosted in the Admiral's cabin and a party held on her quarter-deck. Members of the public were also taken on guided tours around the dreadnought. A similar event was held in NovrdLisch by a visiting Conegsreich dropship.

Peace Between Nations

After the incident in which Brightneau trawlers fired upon a Saltwater Navy frigate an agreement has been reached between the two countries. 24 Brightneau trawlers will be allowed to fish in Saltwater waters, so long as an equal number of Saltwater trawlers are permitted in Brightneau seas.

The Upholder Returns to Service

The SWS Upholder has completed sea trials and return to service for the first time after striking a mine. The ship has deployed to East Hamalia to train with their navy before heading out on patrol between Wright and Maywar.

Snowstone Protection Ends

The Saltwater Navy's protection of Snowstone has ended as the United States of Warburg finishes work on the defences. The fleet, which includes the SWS Cavalier, has returned to NovrdLisch without incident.

Nuclear Deterrent Strengthened

Two new Ursa-class ballistic missile submarines have been commissioned to reinforce the Saltwater nuclear deterrent. This brings the total number of submarines to three, permitting constant at-sea patrols and vastly improving second strike capability.

Deutschland Battle Group

A Saltwater Carrier Battle Group has formed around the super-carrier Deutschland and a pair of her corvettes, protecting the archipelago's waters from intrusions by foreign forces. The fleet will take up station between Snowstone and Krakabola for exercises and patrols. The deployment is expected to last around a month.
