@Skua @Dullwolf @DeezDucks I happen to have found a weight reducing part that takes off about 7,000 lbs. Off your aircraft. It needs to be placed near the CoM though, otherwise the CoM changes to outside of the plane. It has really interesting properties too. You guys wanna see it? I'll put it in my next upload
I just made a crude one to find out. I put engines on the end of extremely swept wings, so that the CoM was behind the end of the fuselage, and then added more steeply-swept wing to the outside of the engines to get the CoL behind the CoM. It looks pretty stupid and flies with all the grace of a drunk walrus, but it's doable.
No probably not because lets say your made a rod out of fuselage blocks with a tower of fuselage blocks at one end. Now lets say you ditch all wight except for at the tower, where you put 1000 lbs of dead weight in each. No matter how close that COM looks like it's gonna go off the end it wont cause there will always be mass on the other end of that rod. If my explanation was wayyyy to complicated let me know and I'll simplify it xD
Delphinus' Golden Wings and Platinum Wings. They're both enormous flying wings, which would definitely do the job

@Dullwolf haha, glad you liked it. But yes, it is possible, and I'm sure a better one than mine could be made by spending more than two minutes on it
@Skua you sir, you are a genius, the way you worded that was brilliant.

by shifting doing that form his center of mass stayed has he moved his body upwards
@DeezDucks yes I agree, I had the question after watching an acrobatic increase his jump hight by backflipping in an upside down U Across the bar.
@icecoldlava I'm pretty sure The game doesn't count parts that aren't attached to the main body, not sure if there's an exception with sub assemblies.

@icecoldlava I was thinking a similar design to a boomerang
If there was a ton of stuff outside the plane it's possible but it's highly unlikely. But I challenge you to make one
