Major Armed Forces Re-equipment

After lessons learnt from the Invasion of Icebergia the Saltwater Marine Corps and Saltwater Air Force is re-equipping on a scale never seen before.

Twenty of the oldest Arctic Armour tanks have been retired and 170 Lykins P6-11AT Jaguars have entered service, serving as the SWMC's primary main battle tank. It has been modified for Saltwater service with extra armour and improved targeting systems.

6 heavy bombers are being purchased from Parsha to serve alongside the F/A-87 in the nuclear strike role. They will also have conventional strike capability.

Replacements for the Osprey II and Terminator-E are also being sought. The replacement for the Osprey II will enter service in two months and the purchase of replacement attack helicopters is awaiting confirmation.

Finally the V-22 cargo aircraft are being re-engined to increase their speed, range, payload and service ceiling. This process will be completed in a few days.

Supply From Icebergia

The problem of oil has been solved with the successful invasion of Icebergia. 33.3% of all oil produced on the island will be shipped to NovrdLisch. Various captured equipment from the island is also being taken to NovrdLisch for examination. The island was recently liberated from communist control by a combined Saltwater-Parsha-Falken Reich-New SimpleLandia coalition.
