At dawn five battleships of the Falken Navy opened fire on the western side of Crokorea, bombarding tank columns and gun emplacements. Meanwhile on the southern side the SWS Cavalier and another Falken Navy battleship bombarded the island with missiles and railguns.
.
At 07:15 a massive air raid roared in. Aircraft from every participating nation flew in the strike package. They attacked airfields, barracks, command and control facilities, anti-aircraft batteries and infrastructure across the island. The Crokorean Air Force only managed to send three MiG-21s to interfere and these were quickly and effectively destroyed by escorting Sweepstreak Peregrines and RF-44 Angelcats. Cruise missiles from the fleet offshore also struck power stations, knocking out the power to most of the island.
.
At 08:00 the landings began on the southern beaches. Saltwater and Parshian forces stormed ashore under heavy machine gun fire, protected by the Leonardo Dart attack helicopters orbiting above. With the covering fire from the Darts and their own landing ships the invaders advanced up the beaches, capturing pillboxes as they went.
.
After advancing two miles the allied forces dug in, allowing reinforcements from Parsha and the Falken Reich to be airlifted in. Then they pushed forwards once more. By midday a third of the island had fallen and the Crokorean forces began to use more desperate tactics. Six Short Skyvan transports loaded with explosives attempted to ram the invasion fleet, but all were shot down by SAMs and patrolling ADFX-01 Morgan fighters. The last remaining Crokorean Navy units also attempted to attack the forces on the beaches. Ten torpedo boats rounded a headland and attacked, but all were sunk by fire from the landing ships, FA-12 Razorbacks, SA-9s and Leonardo Dart helicopters.
.
At the end of the day half the island had been taken and the allied forces dug in once more for the night. However the Crokorean Army counter-attacked during the night and the allies retreated rapidly, losing half the ground they had taken to an ad-hoc mixture of army units and armed civilians. AC-45 and T-22 gunships intervened, saving the invasion. By 09:00 the next morning the forces had recaptured the lost territory. At 17:38 a squadron of Jaguar MBTs of the Saltwater Marine Corps reached the other side of the island, completing the invasion.
.
Dispite this the population remains very hostile, meaning that the occupying forces regularly get into fights with insurgents around the island. Parshian and Falken forces have both constructed bases on the island. Half of the Saltwater Navy units have returned to NovrdLisch, leaving one carrier battle group stationed off the island. The Saltwater Foreign Service Corps have replaced the Marine Corps in controlling the population. They have brought twenty Earthquake ALS light tanks to the island, alongside ten Alligator armoured personnel carriers.
A large portion of the Crokorean Navy is missing, however. It is believed that they have escaped to another location to rearm and continue offensive operations against the allies. The SWS Furious has put to sea to hunt them down. The force is believed to contain two heavy cruisers, three light cruisers, eight destroyers and five support ships.

Apologies for the lower quality of the "Losses and Kills" section. Due to the website crash I had nothing to refer to.
@thefalkenreich
Roger. The SWS Furious is also in pursuit. She has two helicopters and two reconnaissance drones on board.

Right, I'll back that change.
Your work sounds intriguing.
