Mission Failure
The plan devised to attack one of the SUR’s main factory complexes was carried out yesterday with the airfield successfully being captured. The troops advanced towards the factories and encountered heavy resistance but wore able to set up a perimeter around the area. Shortly after enemy aircraft wore detected heading towards the area, the Kinoran aircraft stationed at the airfield wore scrambled and headed to intercept the attackers. Though all of this turned out to be a distraction to draw the kinoran aircraft away from the conflict so stealth bombers could bomb the perimeter. From only one bombing run, half the allied troops had been killed and many more wore injured. As for the kinoran aircraft, they wore rushed back to the conflict as fast as possible and the SUR aircraft wore later found out to be unarmed and outdated aircraft purely ment for distraction. The Vanguard drop ships wore called in early for extraction and 70% of them escaped safely, the others wore either shot down are wore destroyed while they wore boarding troops. This has been a major loss for both Kinora and Corlranda and some are even questioning the viability of using human combatants anymore as to many lives are lost.

New plans
The Kinora Military has decided to involve the Opeus 2 in the war even though it’s involvement is risky. It is planned to fire its siege cannons from orbit at the factories which will certainly destroy them. After this it will return to a higher orbit in attempts to avoid SUR attacks.

Invasion of Sesqetchia
The SUR has begun to overwhelm the allied troops in Sesqetchia and has moved thousands of troops even further inland. It is expected that the SUR will attempt to push for Sesqetchia’s capital Emsing so reinforcements are arriving to defend the city. An Opeus 1x is expected to help defend the border especially in the south as SUR spacecraft have been seen there and cannot be ignored.
