Rank System

3,000 merasmusthewizard  9.3 years ago

What if instead of the color based rankings we have now, we had the stripes and/or wings that airline pilots wear and titles to go with them? For example: Aviation Cadet->Second Officer->First Officer->Captain->Senior Captain->Chief Pilot

There could be other titles too, such as "Aerospace Engineer" for devs and "Air Traffic Controller" for mods.

Thoughts?

Sounds good! I bet I would be captain with my new gold rank.

@No! Sniper is why I have an arrow in my head, and Medic tried to sew bald eagle pancreases to my face while I was unconscious!

@KingDeadshot that's why I proposed civilian ranks first. It's a similar system to what most airline companies use. We don't have to be tacticool.

We could also use the commonwealth system of ranks, from Pilot Officer to Air Chief Marshal.
