Its been a few months since it happened, the enemy that very few soldiers actually saw in combat. What follows is an audio recording involving a recon unit from the 36th of the Halcyon Army Raptors in the state of New Bonelands State.
Captain Edwards: "H36 Sunderland, Halcyon Army Raptors Recon checking in, over. Approaching the airfield from the south, just passed the farm of Sunderland fields, ETA 11 minutes. We are carrying a downed enemy, and... someone needs to take a look at this! Request an airlift standing by. We need to bring this thing to Pak Pang! Over."
C-130 Pilot: “Solid Copy, proceed to Middleton Airfield for extractio-.”
Captain Edwards: “Hello? Can you extract us? Over.”
C-130 Pilot: “That’s going to be a negative, Raptors.”
Captain Edwards: “What, why?”
C-130 Pilot: “The 18th Armoured Unit has retreated along with what’s left of the airforce in Middleton Airfield, the base have been the overrun, we can’t extract you....
radio silence for a while
Captain Edwards: “Copy.....what if we clear a landing for you, Over.”
C-130 Pilot: “...........hold on, patching you over to another channel...”
Mr.Lewis: “This is Mr Lewis with the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Captain Edwards is it?”
Captain Edwards: “Yes sir, it is..”
Mr.Lewis: “Captain Edwards, I’m sure you have been briefed about our current situation. Now what I need is your word, can you clear that airfield and bring the downed enemy home?”
Captain Edwards: “Yes sir.”
Mr.Lewis: “Good, the C-130 is 30 minutes out, be sure that you clear that airfield.”
