Pinning a comment means you are putting said comment at the top row of the comment section in order for users to see it first before they see the rest of the comment section. To pin a comment in The SimplePlanes™ Website, first you would need to click on the square button next to the "reply" button. It will bring a drop-down menu. Click the "pin comment" button on said drop-down menu. Doing so will run lines of code that will force the comment to always be on top of the comment section, and the comment box color will turn blue. Once a comment is pinned, the "upvote" button disappears, which means you are no longer able to upvote said pinned comment.
