Think of the motion like how a wave goes. Tilts up, goes up. Tilts down, goes down. It’s pretty complicated to make but it basically it’s the most realistic operating piston engine in the game
I’ll work on one tomorrow and post it. Basically it works like a weird mechanical Stirling engine. One rod pushes the back of the nozzle up so it can force them down, then the other pushes the nozzle to face up so it can pull both rods upwards, thus making spin
Well, I have a technique that uses VTOL nozzles that oscillate by two rods at a 90 degree eccentric of each other, but just that usually ends up being 40 feet tall
I figured out a way, i just need some high speed, infinite rotators, so if someone could help me find some, i would be eternally grateful. (Exaggeration but whatever it would get the train out faster)
@JakeSnakeMate ooh, all I can say is your gonna need a ton of nudge and maybe some scaled down parts
@BurkeEnterprise oh, i need help with the wheel rods pn the side of a steam train, not a steam engine, sorry for the confusion

@JakeSnakeMate oh shit, I gotta make it again.

@BurkeEnterprise can i see it anyways?

@RailfanEthan no, i understand the mechanics, but cant get one to work in game, but thank you anyways
does this help?
