Simple question, HOW DO I DO THAT?!

I've been trying to coat a specific wing for some time now and all I got from it was a sanity decrease. The angles and stuff don't ever line up. Since I'm a certified idiot, I still have no clue how to do it reliably without losing my mind. Is there any math to it I could help myself with?
