How to keep a plane without a vertical stabilizer from sliding around, I'm making the first English powered aircraft the Av-Roe biplane No.1 and it hasn't got a tail fin, I just can't keep it from flopping about the place and crashing lol, the real one only did hops, but even hops can't be completed without the thing going into a flat spin and pankakeing

Can you attach a vertical stablizer and then rotate it until it is hidden within the body?

Impossible without complex FBW, which is way too complicated for SP. other than that you need to hide one or move on to the next plane

You could probably use very thin wing peices and use them as both vertical stabilizers and struts. I'm not sure if it will work though.

I've gone for a control system that doesn't allow dihedral to be edited... @Skua

Looking at the plane, it has a little bit of a dihedral on both the wing and tail surfaces which could maybe be exaggerated slightly, until you get enough stability.

well, putting a vertical wing in the fuselage of the aircraft would help with that.
