@Smrtaz Your arguments are mostly based on insults and complaints and no real facts or proof to back them up. Personally I think the mods are doing a great job and maybe your just getting pissed because you got on their bad side or something...

@Legosail I've never seen them advertising their planes. But it's really annoying when I think people commented on my plane to give feedback on anything and it just some guy asking me and/or other people to come check out their planes. It's like someones stepping on my face, forcing me underwater to reach the surface... -,-

@General360 dude nobody is saying you're a bad builder at all, just that the attention-seeking is no good. As far as I can tell from your page, you built some pretty great stuff, and some of it got a fair bit of (well-deserved) praise. Just try to remember that an awful lot of folk are in the same situation as you, and advertising like that is effectively just trying to shout over everyone

I do not see where you're going with this. He broke the rules, so I gave him a fair warning asking him not to do that. I did not ban him, it was only a warning.

@General360 what, you mean how would I get them to clip inside the body? I rarely ever use mods, only if what I'm trying to do is literally impossible in the regular builder.

@General360 am I not allowed to have a different opinion on the situation from you? Your Do-216 is a great build, but it doesn't really teach anyone anything - the turrets are just on rotators, and you didn't explain anything about how you made it. Puredeath's post a) wasn't even attached to a build, it was a totally about the tutorial, and b) explained in detail something that the majority of users didn't know how to do. As UnstableOrbit says, if everyone advertised the way you want to be able to, the forums would be totally flooded and effectively just turn in to the new planes page. If you want to help people, that's fantastic, but I'm afraid that this just looks like you wanting more attention for your planes.

@General360, lets look at the facts. There are probably hundreds if not thousands of planes with special building techniques that would help people, right? By your logic, ALL of those deserve to be featured. The problem with that line of reasoning is that people would have to go through every single plane on the site, of which there are TENS OF THOUSANDS, and then sort through them to find ones with helpful stuff, and then feature them all. Do you know HOW LONG THAT WOULD TAKE?????

@Puredeath wasn't advertising himself, he was just promoting a plane he KNEW had good helpful building techniques that just so HAPPENED to be his own! Would you rather he promote one of his planes that can help people learn to build better, or would you prefer that he promote NOTHING AT ALL because no mod team would ever be big enough to feature everything that is helpful?

@General360 are you referring to Puredeath's wheel tutorial? Because that is a world away from "Come and look at my plane". Puredeath's post was helpful to people, simply advertising your newest build isn't

@Smrtaz I saw some of what happened this morning between @RocketLL and General360. In my opinion Rockett handled that situation pretty well. And @General360 was way out of line with some of the things that he was posting. Also General360, you're telling me that your upset that @Puredeath was trying to teach people how to be better builders in the game? The nerve of that guy...
