Top secret material
In the year 1942, Britain was experimenting with metals. They were trying to create a metal light enough for aircraft yet strong enough to be survivable. They then came up with a new material, Which is still unnamed. It is made up of titanium, lithium, stainless steel, some uranium and other confidential materials. The materials are combined chemically, Which can only be separated in a top secret way that only the British know.
The material is said to be lighter than steel, yet stronger than titanium. It was effective against Normal guns, yet it is ineffective against 35+ caliber cannons
To this day, only the British know the process of making and separating the material
(Edit)they also discovered that Lithium was totally unnecessary and was removed from the material

@Noname918181 mixing up random elements usually results in random results.
Lithium isn't a great idea for an armour material. It tends to lower the melting point of a material its alloyed to and allow for better conductivity. Which makes it great for batteries and circuitry. Metallurgy too. But not for protective purposes.
Certainly not for stealth as far as I know.

Haven't thought about it, just mixed up some random elements. Maybe for increased absorption of radar waves since it's a semiconductor??????
I have to ask, what does the lithium actually do in the alloy you've made? I understand this is pseudoscience but pseudoscience needs some foundation.
@NirvashTec yes, but as we learn on basic chemistry, chemically mixing something will change chemical properties of the materials
..Isn't lithium a hard risk as it could form toxic fumes when heated, as well as react violently to water?
