Flak problems

With my new aircraft, I've been trying to add flak guns to the rear, this isn't the problem, I've just set Impact Force to 100 damage to 0 to simulate more of a punch rather than a bullet and then made the spread reasonably high and muzzle velocity low to create almost an impassible field of bullets.

The problem is that at high speeds at normal game speed the bullets collide with parts of the aircraft that are behind them (the bullets are being fired backwards and the plane is going forward, the gun is further back than the parts the bullets are colliding with) when I put it in slow motion the bullets no longer collide with the parts but as soon as I put it in normal motion the bullets collide and render the weapon useless as well as making it very hard to steer. Does anyone have any solutions to this problem? if needed I can upload the plane unlisted so that you can try it out.

    Muzzle velocity is too low
    Add more muzzle velocity to fix it

    Maybe add a gyro I had the same problem I created a gun carpet bomber maybe add pistons or you overlords mod to give insane Heath to the back of the craft
