Update 2.0 Idea “Sea you!”

Hello, friends,
I have many ideas for a next update to this game. They are all fascinating and exciting!

Electricity:
Imagine a tiny bar just above the fuel bar, a green or yellow line, that represented electricity. You would need such to use pistons, control surfaces, and rotators etc. and it could be stored in a battery block. or added as a slider in the fuselage, proportional to the fuselage’s size. You can gain electricity from battery ports or Solar panels.

Solar Panel:
One of several ways to get electricity. Works similarly to fuselage, and can be many shapes.

Fuel and Electricity ports on the islands:
Right next to the parking lanes on Yeager Airport, or In the hangar, there would be a large white cylinder. This is a fuel tank. You attach a fuel cap to a fuselage or fuel tank on your plane, and by the press of a button, the hose would snap onto the cap, and your fuel bar would increase. This could also be done with a transformer box for the electricity.

SOUND BARRIER: this would be such a cool feature, once you exceed a TAS of 776 mph, you would hear a loud boom and smoke would come off of your aircraft. This would be a cool aesthetic piece, and could prompt a low fuel build challenge.

Hydrodynamics:
Would make boats handle more like boats, and drift less, if you use a rudder, or fin.

UNDERWATER PHYSICS:
Imagine being able to see underwater, and seeing sunken ships, planes and more, you could build rovers that would explore the sea! But if you got to far from the islands, your craft would be crushed.

Underwater motors/propellers:
Motors and jets that would work underwater, as simple as that.

Ballast blocks:
Could be attached to an activation group or input. Would fill with water, sinking your craft, you could also blow the ballast, to rise up. This would use electricity.

Sticky Rotators:
Would add an option to make rotators snap back to neutral position or stay in place. Could be very useful for turrets and the like.

Edit: That’s all folks, please tell me what you think, and upvote if you like these features! Bye!

My thoughts for underwater renders is that you can only see a certain distance, determined by a quality slider, and there would be a layer of ground that follows you around under the water, it could generate random pieces of sea grass and kelp and what not.

@Noname918181 I see your point but I think they can find a work around, I mean after all you’re underwater to swim not drive.

Fuel and Electricity ports on the islands:
Instead, maybe we just need to make a square that when the plane is parked in fuel and electricity is automatically loaded, it also adds a glow effect and soaring energy particles during the charging process.

@Noname918181 Under water would not be a issue because they could make the Islands like the map from Subnautica the map is pretty big when you get to the end of the map it drops off into a void, and they could make so Islands reside on a shelf.

About the electricity, it should be a togglable button for if your build will have electricity physics enabled, as older builds will have to incorporate new parts, possibly ruining them. Older builds would also have it turned off by default.

    It's a good concept though

@HarrisCraft using freecam, I plunged under the water surface. All I saw was some land, and a void. Implementing the underwater camera would basically mean that they have to fill that large void, which covers most of the ocean floor. That's where the problems kick in

This is a good list of things.

@Noname918181 I think the seeing underwater part is not the biggest issue the devs might face, I believe it’s the water dynamics as it’s constantly moving and all

    I would call it 1.10
Also the ability of seeing underwater would take processing power, a lot of processing power. Meaning if they would add that, mobile users would be left out

Yes, but maybe give the devs a break for a while

I'm not really on board with the electricity and the sound barrier. The sound of the sonic boom would shatter headphone user's eardrums. Electricity would add a whole other complexity to things and older planes people made wouldn't function because they would need electricity. The others are great ideas!

@jamesPLANESii mobile players probably wouldn't get the new island if they added a new one.

Quite a few of these actually sound good, but the underwater physics and hydrodynamics probably would be too intensive for many devices.... still would be cool though. :/

We already have 1.9, and an update with this many new things would be a major update, so 2.0
