Eh, this is hard to choose. Real life plane would either be the F-22 or F-4E.
Favorite Fictional airplane would be the Aurora fighter. Or the TIE Fighter or Interceptor, if those count. :D
My favorite real life plane is the F-15C. (I don't like the strike eagle because if the conformal fuel tanks)
Favorite fictional plane would have to be YF-21 from a game called Rebel Raiders: Operationt Nighthawk. Not sure if anyone has heard of that particular title for the Nintendo Wii, I don't think it was very well known, but still.
Real: it's so hard to choose, but the Su-47 probably takes the prize. Honourable mentions to the Saab 21 and 35, de Havilland Sea Vixen, and the McDonnell Douglas X-36. Decisions are hard.
As for a fictional favourite, I don't know if any of you ever played the game Battle Engine Aquila on the PS2, but the Forseti Valkyries in that were just gorgeous. Sadly, the internet has forgotten that game for the most part, and I haven't ever found a decent image of it, but Lt. Fox's fighter in this video is pretty close. I'm also a big fan of the Eldar Nightwing from Warhammer 40,000.
