Im sorry if this gets controversial but i have now seen posts saying not to use forums to try get our planes noticed. Now we cant ask for a plane to be featured? Its starting to go too far. If we cant upsell planes in the forum on this site as it is less frequented by uploaded posts then what else wont we be allowed to do next? Sorry but we are supposed to be sentient beings with choices, like ignoring stuff like 'please upvote' or 'please feature'. Just try asking for upvotes i bet you dont get upvoted anyway. Also dont upvote this!!!!!
I am very, VERY evil for what I have done MUAH, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Yeah fair enough mate but no trouble here it was just a discussion and we all have different opinions. Everyone here can agree it was a civil discussion
@dsr1aviation I was just posted on 2 days ago, I wanted to stop some trouble here.
Not really this has been quite innactive for a while now.@lucasmah
@RocketLL @thelatentmage need some help here, getting very hot.
I am glad that I'm able to say the same for you. @dsr1aviation
So the devs dont set the rules and guidelines???? Huh thought they would have considering it is their site after all. While i appreciate the devs hard work its not even the moderators making these comments. Yes rocketll did make a post but there were many before it. I have just been to busy to address it @Allstar also thanx for taking time out to debate this without resorting to being rude. More people should be able to discuss stuff without trying to offend each other. Thankyou
Or MAYBE the Devs have bigger fish to fry than post about this. These sorts of things are pretty much why we have moderators. @dsr1aviation
Thankyou for the constructive comment@Skua
@dsr1aviation every time someone tags a mod or dev with something along the lines of "feature this!", it's another notification in a very busy inbox. Whilst that's not really a big deal if one person does it, if it becomes commonplace then it rapidly overwhelms and crowds out any notifications for things the mods actually need to see.
Also, don't worry about deleting this post, it's totally okay to have a discussion about the rules, and everyone is keeping it pretty sensible
Also people usually dont listen to what has been told anyway. Example dont follow this link and people follow because they cant help it
See i dont care if my planes get featured and am not crying about my planes. It is a general statement. If it doesnt affect, people who cares what people ask for. They dont get it anyway. That is my point!!!!! @Allstar i just dont get why we cant ignore it cos obviously the devs do or they would post something about it!!
Quit being a baby and earn it. Besides, you're almost at the point where you can no longer be featured. @dsr1aviation
@dsr1aviation It's not even a new rule, it's just some common courtesy for the benefit of the devs and mods. They decide what gets featured. That has not changed. The only thing that has changed is that you are no longer allowed to be obnoxious and tag every single dev and mod on every single plane and beg for it to be featured, because it's really annoying.
If asked by a dev or mod to remove the post. I will but this is how i feel when a new post with a new rule is made nearly everyday
It doesnt work so how does it harm anyone but themselves? @NovaTopaz @Minecrafta15 @Brields95
It's unethical to call attention to yourself. When you're in a competition, you don't tell the judges "hey, vote for me!" Unless you're an arogant prickly pear that is.
It's because they are too busy with the new update
@dsr1aviation Well, I think it's more of a common sense thing. You shouldn't ask to be featured. You have to make a great plane to get featured.
It doesnt
Yes but where does it say you cant ask to be featured? @AgDynamics
The list of rules can be found in the black footer at the bottom of literally every page.
We know the rules. And there is a page for it so where can i find these other rules that keep popping up?
