Hello SimplePlanes community.
So I have trouble making custom wings that have the proper shape, I.e. how the shape of thewing is large at the wing root and gets thinner the further out the wing goes.
If someone who has the experience is able to put together a tutorial to show me how it's done, that would be great
@Poomch980
yeah, I know that. I just have autism, so things are even harder for me to understand
@LtzAsk
That's the thing. I have tried that, but even then, I still haven't figured it out
I struggle with this too, I'll just release my plane with the airfoil being clearly visible when looking from the side ig 😬
@EternalDarkness
I did try that, but your tutorial doesn't seem to give the right shape. I've seen normal fuselage blocks used to get the tapered look. And one fuselage block can make up most of the wing. I just don't know how to make the end of the wing, aka: control surfaces without making them out of separate panels so they can also be tapered. I also struggle with making the ends of the wings.
Why? @Omel
You use pistons and gyros for wings? @Omel
You could try this technique.
@ND40X @EternalDarkness could help you with this
It’s hard to explain, best way to learn is through experience and practice.
.
Go download other people’s builds, rip up the wings and see how they are made.
@ND40X
Other things?
Maybe, but I want other things first
