Not joking, but recently after a few "big" works of mine that use fuselage blocks instead of regular blocks gathering ZERO upvotes, I think that in general people are getting less upvotes.
I had not noticed the decrease in the number of posted vehicle (because how the majority of them are ... not very impressive). But the jetStream is really not the same when you look back a day later and see the same jet hanging out in the first place.
Is anything wrong with it? Even if it is a static model it should get at least ONE upvote, no?
Come on. At least for the engine I tried to make to look nice. At least for the suspension I made that look more or less acceptable.
SOMETHING!
If you say that my hours (days and weeks) of work on this is not enough, what about those that spent maybe 10 minute to piece something together?
Admirably, my Aircraft-on-a-String did get a few upvotes. More than what I'd expect from a novelty item.
Beside the fact that people are either being stingy with their fingers, or the fact that half of the people that was generous went away, I do notice that Simpleplanes.com now have advertisements (huh?) which should not happen for a website dedicated to a PAID game.
What's wrong?
@TheMachinist
How long? About ten days I guess.
In reality, after about 2 days if there is no upvotes the build is largely wasted.
@CDRxavier running, or in Jundroo's case renting, servers are very expensive. It's not cheap. So there are about 2 ads per page when you are signed out. This only applies to plane posts and pages like the "hottest" and "newest" pages. here is the post about it
@CrashFighter05
Sure, but why? Are they not tolling in enough profit from Simpleplanes and Simplerocket's? It wasn't there before, if you ask me.
Nice vehicle on avatar, by the way.
The ads are to keep server costs down. You would know that if you read the post.
