I Need Assistance!

I built a custom anti-ship missile, but every time the airplane maneuvers, the missile bounces around as though it has an extreme amount of weight; even though everything has zero weight and drag (excluding the cleaver). How do I fix this?!!?!

Yeah, when couple of hints are presented, I figure things out pretty quick.

That's because the game messes around with mass tensors to smooth out vibrations. The end result is that flipping a 1 gram switch can make a heavy plane rock around like it was hit by a cannon. The tensor system can be turned off in XML but this introduces even worse issues.

But I see you've already discovered the solution of 'just mess around until it works'

    Thanks man. It works now.

0 weight is a bad idea in low physics. Also, check the conncections. make sure you have a stable connection with the main detatcher to the main structure of the missile

Don't put the detacher/pylon on 0 weight, not really the missile either. I usually have like 0.25 mass on custom missile stuff and then maybe 0.5-0.75 detacher? Just mess around until it works.
