I'm sorry what? (Muzzle brake design bug)

8,452 ThatGuySaucy  4.7 years ago

So was playing with some old builds, and noticed that my muzzle brake flash things is not working. This was BlackBoa's panther I redesigned it on before the update

And here it is after the update

now they just look like big balls of fire
how did this happen

I posted the panther before the update and did absolutely nothing to it when I downloaded it

    This appears to be due to the tiny part scale on the cannons affecting the local simulation space of the muzzle flash.
    You should be able to fix it by setting flashSpace="World"

    @Ruffes123
    .
    Let me try the same sort of concept, and see how it works.

    @SnoWFLakE0s @PhantomBladeCorp I used 3 cannons not 1. one on the end, and two on the sides. I even tried flash scale, all it does is just make the balls of fire even smaller. None of them has the muzzle brake attachment

    Depends on how you designed the muzzle flash.
    As @SnoWFlakE0s said, it might be a flashScale issue, but here's the question:
    Did you use only one cannon? If so, did you apply a muzzle brake to it?

    Might be a flashScale issue.
