For those who have seen my previous builds of modern jets we can all assume that I don't know what I'm doing and that isn't entirely wrong... but Ima try it again anyway.
So I got board again and decided to draw something and It ended up being a decent depiction of my idea for an early star fighter. So I plan on giving this craft some fairly powerful engines and see if this ends up like my F-48A-2 Trident Rex. I think I have a good enough understanding of this game to make it work, it may give me a good place to start messing with VTOL capabilities as well.

Use hollow fuselage pieces for the engine intakes.
it looks a tad odd.
move the canards back to the cockpit.
also make them bigger
