So it's been a small bit since the first aircraft designation post and some things have changed. So I'll fill ya in on the new aircraft.
CF-Series: stands for civilian fighter.
here on SPK-173, aircraft make up 1/3 of all transportation. And for those looking for an aircraft that has the feel and look of a military jet, this series is for aircraft designed to fill that role.
CF-1: A large single seat aircraft. Boasts a delta wing and canard, very similar to the E-Series Fighters. Considering it's miltaristic appearance, it has had some controversy over its allowance on public flight paths. Personally, I compare it to going to get groceries from the store in an F1 car.
CF-2: very similar to the CF-1 except for it's appearance.
UF-Series: Stands for Unused Fighter.
This series has no publicly available aircraft. This series is for aircraft that didn't make the cut for production.
UF-1: This is the only aircraft in the entire series that has survived, is flyable, and had weapons equipped at one point. Was designed as a competitor to FranzPeterSiegfried's RF-44 Angelcat.
UF-2 through 300:
Unfinished aircraft, failed proposals, and scrapped designs.
EF-Series: Stands for Experimental Fighter.
These aircraft are usually highly classified. I cannot say how many exist here. There's only one aircraft I can talk about here.
EF-XX: An unmanned Drone. Uses ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ engines for propulsion. Capable of ¦¦ kilometers per second. It uses ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦ for fuel. Maneuverability classified.
X-Series: _________________________
X-¦: ¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦.
NF-Series: Stands for Naval Fighter. This series is specifically for Carrier capable aircraft.
NF-18 Series: this aircraft holds a few records here for the longest time an aircraft has been in production, most active military service, and most widely exported. Nerfaddict originally designed this as a proposed F/A-18 Replacement, it was rejected to put it straight. Nerfaddict made this aircraft almost immediately after getting transferred to SPK-173. It's capabilities has improved drastically over the long years.
Miscellaneous : these have no official series.
Not all thing here are aircraft. This series also includes collected aircraft and other vehicles from Nerfaddict's travels.
F-15N: Not only is it Nerfaddict's personal aircraft, It's potentially the Fastest aircraft on SPK-173. Its maneuverability is not the best however. The engines weren't even designed for aircraft this small (Particularly overclocked ionic Scramjets originally designed for Large Cargo Aircraft).
MXE-53 "Sakura": originally an FFR-41MR, it has been Extensively modified to NerfAddict's Specifications.
CV-NX: NerfAddict's Personal Car. Started life as a "Lynix Astronia Supersport SL". It has since been rebuilt using current technology, including the use of Molecular manipulation for propulsion. Capable of 1454 Kph, and 0-100 in under 1 second.
