How to determine blueprint scale?

148 TeraCotaYT  4.7 years ago

I just imported some blueprints, but I have no idea on how to scale them. I am going for a 1:1 replica of an Yakvolev Yak 9P, I have the wingspan, height etc. but i have no idea on how to scale ingame blueprints to match the 1:1 that im going for. can you help me? https://imgur.com/a/oKF89jE

Oh, another thing, if you open the menu and press the “i” button, you can see the size of your plane

At default size, a fuselage block is 1x1m. @TeraCotaYT

@TeraCotaYT Fuselage block units, same as one block that is 18 units in length. There isn't a "better way", since this is the most accurate way of doing it.

@edensk I just did this, the plane's length is about 9m (so that will be 18 fuelsage blocks) but thats way larger than I expected, any way to properly scale the thing down? something that will be about 9 fuelsage blocks in length

Make a horizontal stick with fuselage blocks that is as wide as the real aircraft, and scale the blueprint so that it "fits".
    .
    2 fuselage block units = 1m (3.28084 ft)
