There must be a better way to do this.

Currently I am venturing into shipbuilding, after spending many hours laying out a frame for the hull I have come to a halt in construction-

The problem: Fuselage block placement is incredibly tedious especially when one wishes to cover a rather complex shape, It is quite annoying to have to make a 200ft long hull out of small triangles in order to achieve a desired shape.

Ideally there should be fuselage blocks with the ability to bend in complex shapes- or perhaps a feature where one can lay out a wire frame that can be turned into a custom shaped fuselage piece with the click of a button.

    @WalrusAircraft

    Yes- and no.

    I'm building a tea clipper for some boat building practice in order for me to make the Dreadnought. And hopefully some day HMS Victory as ive got some very detailed plans of it.

    But my current hull making techniques of building a frame mirroring the shape of what I want then covering it in fuselage blocks has not been working well. It lets me envision the hull shape I want to build, but its incredibly frustrating as it's almost impossible to make it!

    So unless the devs come out with a patch for bending fuselage blocks I don't think I'll finish my clipper- a shame as ive grown quite attached to it.

    I also want to be able to do this, so that it is easier to build the desired hull

    Yes, quite infuriating actually, even with normal non hollow hull (like the one i use to make my ships) its still hard

    @asteroidbook345 It would have to be hollow.
