Hey guys if you clicked then thanks. Basically I'm trying to make a large plane, but it keeps drifting to the left and right even though I have a vertical stabilizer. I have used fuselage blocks over wing pieces for the wings and stabilisers. Also the plane pitches up and down very slowly and handling overall is terrible. Someone please help me!!
Could be a few days for me, @work.
@jamesPLANESii @F104Deathtrap I have uploaded the aircraft in question. Please download it and help me with the handling. Thanks so much guys I really appreciate this.
👍 @GoldenFalcon63
@F104Deathtrap Thanks bro if you have the time then maybe check out some of my builds, they're very basic but if you have any feedback please let me know!
@jamesPLANESii Yeah I get you
@GoldenFalcon63 No problem! This stuff will make more sense to you in time. Every last one of us went through this exact thing you're going through, learning by problem solving and asking for help.
Oh, by rudder I meant tail lol @GoldenFalcon63
@jamesPLANESii OK I will try that 👍
@Gnome360 I'll check it out, thank you.
@F104Deathtrap Thanks for the info! I'm relatively new to the game so this is really helpful.
Check that your drag is equal on both sides. Also it sounds like you need a bigger rudder.
If you want to see this aplied to the extreme, check my latest aircraft, it was a headache to balance.
Airplanes are a balancing act. The further apart the yellow ball (lift) is from the red ball (mass) the more force is required to pull the nose up. You can increase that force by building larger elevators on your tail, by flying at a higher speed, or by increasing the size of your wings. Or you could just move your main wings forward or whatever heavy stuff you crammed into the nose a bit further back.
