Some features I’d love to see, and some bugs I’d love to see fixed
Features:
- Help forum tag for things you need help with
- Credits section of airplane posts that doesn’t appear in designer, only when editing the post on the website. It wouldn’t show for viewers if left empty.
- Tank tracks
- Input xml for weapons other than missiles
- More maps, like a car testing map or a WWII map, things like that to push your creations to their limits without mods
- Player-guides missiles
- Vertical launch missiles that have 360 targeting, slow lock time, and ignore terrain obstructions when locking (but still blow up if they hit the ground)
- A render distance to support adding 8a or 8b
- (A) Maybe some mobile-exclusive stuff to make up for maywar and the kraken.
- (B) Or you could add maywar (but no kraken) without the wind farm, the render distance would solve the problem of maywar’s size.
- Ramjets
- More convoys and fleets!
- The ability to spawn enemy, bomber, drone, and tutorial planes just like saved planes
- Maybe a way to spawn custom convoys?
- The ability to have ai planes go and attack other ai planes of your choosing, or have them go escort another planes.
- Tooltips
- Explosion quality setting
- Antennas, for remotely controlled things
- Speedometers to go with 16
Bugs (comment if you find more):
- Ammo xml on miniguns won’t work
- Overload doesn’t stop you from putting a negative explosion or damage scalar on cannons
- Sometimes with super light aircraft they fall through the deck of the uss beast and explode
- Sometimes, when launched in high quantities, explosive cannon shells don’t explode until the projectile lifetime ends, or another thing (other than another cannon shell) hits them.
