Rotator Input Based on Altitude

663 Ja380  4.6 years ago

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know a way I form a function to place as an input for a rotator once my aircraft reaches a certain altitude? For example, I want the rotator to activate once my aircraft reaches 20,000 feet, etc.

Thanks for your help!

Think a bit carefully... if those values were not standardized, one player would have a drastically different experience when using certain aircraft from another person with different unit settings.

SP is based in Unity. Unity is based in SI units; your statement is false. The game merely converts its units into an imperial format as to cater to that audience.

Yea I’m a bit new to modding in general and only started once the overload modding system was added to SP mobile. Glad that you told me this early since I’m trying out more things. Also kinda weird we have the choice to switch to imperial, nautical, and metric units for flying but not modding functions like this... just an observation. @TrislandianAlliance

Because if you didn't know all velocity related stuff in this game uses Meter per Second and height also use Meter, this is a weird system as SP is technically an Imperial game (uses imperial system) but using metric for this kind of things

Didn’t even think about that haha. Definitely the reason behind it then. Thanks to both of you! @TrislandianAlliance

Just tried it out and it works perfectly. Any way you can tell me how you got the “6096” value in the function for an altitude of 20,000 feet? (Just asking so I can readjust this value in the future without asking you every time) @randomusername
