Less detailed series of builds might come between big builds now.

Heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
The reason I build such detailed stuff is because I’m overly obsessed with making my crafts as accurate and as functional as possible, and I feel it’s a waste not giving something a cockpit since I mostly use cockpit view, and this is beginning to become unhealthy... XD
Builds now take me literally hundreds of hours to build, and now funky trees have been added to the game, meaning I can make cockpits super detailed now too, which further increases the amount of time builds take to make. This is making by builds take wayyyyyy to long to make. Like, annoyingly long.
It’s not really worth working on these things for like 4 months and getting 120 upvotes on them when I can make stuff without cockpits and and a bit less exterior detail, and have the builds take only 3 days to make and maybe get 60 upvotes.
What. I do care about points. Shut up. You might claim you don’t but deep inside, you do. Admit it. We all do at least a bit. That’s why you’re here.
The thing that’s got me thinking about this is currently I’m building a large, heavy lift helicopter (which will be a detailed build) and I’ve pretty much completed the exterior (without the livery) and it’s only day 2 of building. If I didn’t give it a cockpit, it will probably be ready for release by the end of tomorrow. But there’s gonna be heaps of dials and you’re probably not gonna see it for another month or two...yeah.
Another thing, literally none of my big builds are even remotely close to being mobile friendly. Most of them only just run on my iPad mini 4, which is more powerful than some gaming PCs to be honest. It would be a good thing for mobile users to be able to download some of my builds.
So I’m thinking of making some simple replicas, about 400 parts each with liveries, and not giving them teasers or anything when I upload them. They will still be very high quality, but just not OCD high. Kinda like what mikoyanster or BogdanX build.

What do you think?

Well nvm I was wrong on the Top Cub, it does indeed have a full cockpit but it's still FPS friendly for me. So is the Eagle and Deadstick. So I'd prefer it to be built along the build/detail style of those planes you made, except with your realistic flight dynamics and cockpit instrumentation. I'd also prefer the paint job parts to be completely separate from the main structure parts so the paint job could be totally removed.

Sweet, can't wait! :D Although if feasible, I'd really love it if you could make an FPS friendly version akin to your Draco or Top Cub builds but with two versions; one without a cockpit and has glass windows, and another with a working cockpit but not too crazy on details. And then after that one continue further on the build to make the highly realistic accurate version as well. I'd also like the realistic flight dynamics on all versions. ;)

    Some "enhanced" Piper Pacer examples:
    1
    2
    3
    4
    5
    6
    7
    8
    9

5-9 basically has all the mods I like, and ironically it's a NZ-based Pacer.

I also found a website/company that owns the NZ Pacer and has a section of their website dedicated to it and includes all the mods they did to it, so you could use that as reference.

Also, I have 2 airplane requests for you.

Piper Super Pacer 180 and literally any Maule.

The reason why I've come to love the Piper Pacer recently is because they are dirt cheap to buy and it has a host of STC mods available for it, and it's a very flexible airframe in the sense it can either be a speedy efficient cruising airplane or a STOL capable bushplane.

My "dream" set-up is a Piper Pacer with the following STC's/Mods:
    Wing VG's
Wing extensions (or wing extensions with Madras drooped wing tips)
    180HP Lycoming O-360
    Pilot-side door
Duel seaplane doors with bubble-ish/bowed windows
    Modernized panel
    Roof skylight
Super Cub landing gear + large tundra tires

But I would absolutely love it if you made a Piper Pacer replica, even to your own specs. I also don't care if they are super detailed like the Cessna 180. In fact I'd prefer you don't make it super detailed so I can use it on my PC. Still give it a fully modeled cockpit, but also make a variant without a cockpit for even better FPS.

Literally having the same exact situation with the F-24 Warbler. Took less then a week to build the entire thing + cockpit, but it's taking me over a month now (and probably more) to refine the design further (which I guess is kind of a good thing) and slowly add all the more advanced features I want such as FBW, HMD, and working instrumentation on the flight displays.

Eh, points don’t matter to me. Individual build performance does. I could pump out decent builds at 3 times my normal upload rate, but I’d rather make something excellent that I’m really proud of.
    .
But taking a break from Uber-high quality is refreshing once in a while. The stakes aren’t too high then. I might do that to put some concepts out there.

Ah yes healthy 400 parts..., healthy despite accidentally make a 654 parts ship (i didn't even realize it has that much parts) points i do car a little bit buch for much of the time or rather entirety of time i don't care because i got more things to do than looking at random numbers

I think it's a good idea. Personally I just prefer ease of use over hundreds of details.
