I saw a couple people getting interested in making something like this, and I knew I could do it, so I made the first fire control system in SimplePlanes! Now, since there’s no way to get targeting data or muzzle velocity stats with ft, I had to keep it basic, but it still really helps on boats where the turrets are spread out, focusing them on one single point. I might add a feature where you can use ag 3 to toggle it on and off. Anyway, if you wanna try it, I’ll tag u.

@Notaleopard Actually, if you swapped the cockpit and the camera, yes. But I doubt it would know how to change ranges, and the ai are already wildly inaccurate.
@SnoWFLakE0s How? There’s no way to pull them, plus I’ve got no idea how to calculate the expression. And, we can’t get targeting data or do aim adjustment, there’s no way to do variables (well, it’s possible with rate, but that’s a bit complicated)

I original intended to say something about advertising it as the first, but it sounded too pretentious so I decided not to. Although, since we came to it, I would call this more 'gun convergence' than fire control system.. It fails to address the many other parts of a modern fire control system, such as target lead or optical parallax. Cool nonetheless, have you tried this for three dimensional objects (as guns act as 2D vectors ingame)?
