Ever since my last plane I've been thinking about this.
There are some stuff that just couldn't or shouldn't be moved from real life into SP.
For instance, I tried to make supercharger gear shifting in my last WWII fighter, but soon found it to be pointless, because in SP, altitude does not affect engine output (it only affects propeller rotational drag and efficiency, causing you to lose power)
As for others...
Swastika.
I've been struggling about whether to put them as well as Japanese Army ramming kill marks. They are sensitive to some, and I hope my planes could be enjoyed by everyone.
So here's what I'm thinking about:
I'm gonna make real world planes, but put them into Isekai settings.
What is Isekai?

Japanese game creators have been using similar ideas for decades, mostly because combat-related games, animes and mangas are more or less a taboo in post-war Japan.
Ace Combat series, The Magnificent Kotobuki, The Princess and the Pilot, Sky Crawlers, these are all air combat-related fictions that used similar concepts.
So in my case, what I'm going to do is most similar to The Magnificent Kotobuki, in other words, the "parallel-world-suddenly-introduced-to-IRL-aircraft" setting.
ok, that's about all, what do you guys think?
I'll update the background setting IF this idea receives positive reaction.
@vcharng
That's great! Most of the vehicle designs are very cool, it is just the shows that I don't like.
@ArcturusAerospace Oh, if that's the only reason...
My Isekai'd planes won't be anime-ish though.
I just borrowed anime/Japanese design concept.
@vcharng
I have an aversion to anime, because I get bullied for not watching it. This is because most of the people at my school who know me are so addicted to it that they want to buy anime body pillows.
@ArcturusAerospace Any particular reasons why you're so against the idea?
@ThePilotDude I know it's allowed in the rules, but I still feel somewhat weird about using them...
Plus it's just part of the problem. A lot of stuff IRL doesn't really make sense in SP, like... G-meter that max out at 15Gs (SP can easily reach 30, 40, 50 Gs), no oxygen problem, WEP/ MW50 doesn't necessarily work (propeller efficiency problem), far higher lift/drag ratio.....
Those are the primary reasons why I thought about Isekai-ing stuff.
