The title says it all i don't have any experience in doing canard planes this is my first time doing it and it is experiment so that i would better understand com,col, and cot :) can someone know the solution to this? i just want to stabilize my plane from pitching down.
late answer but you can try changing the canard airfoil to semi symmetrical or flat bottom, this will create a larger lift to the nose of your plane and therefore will stabilize your plane.
@DarthAbhinav i know this is 2 years ago but arent delta winf supposed to be unstable
Fixed and tagged on the updated post.
@BadFreed The way your plane is actually build is certainly... unconventional. The only way to stop this issue is by bringing the CoL, CoM and CoT on the same Y-axis.
@BadFreed
lol
@TheReturningHound yeah it was good i've downloaded it :D
@BadFreed Thanks. I'll tag you on my unlisted post. I've got a plane with canards in the works and it's easily one of the best planes to fly on the site.
@ArcturusAerospace It's already infront of CoL sorry hahaha
@TheReturningHound sorry i misundertood you at first XD the CoM is already infront of CoL and it's maybe kinda maneuverable cause i just played with the Mass in the plane but just wanna get rid of the pitching down of the plane :/ i've tried your plane with cannard and it's hella smooth :D
@BadFreed no no no! CoM should be in front of the CoL. I'll have a look at your plane and see what I can do.
@BadFreed
CoM in front of CoL.
@TheReturningHound oohh soo i need my CoM behind the Col but not too close to each other? btw thank you for the upvote :D
Here is my plane
@Ultra0 I've slightly putted the main wing closer to the canard wing and it's more maneuverable than the last time it had :D
Get your CoM backwards, but ensure that it's still ahead of your CoL. Also, if you already didn't know, the canards are inverted as compared to the rear elevators. Or just tag me in the unlisted post, lol.
Maybe move your wings slightly forwards
