how do I reduce CPU stress

at my current settings (everything as high as possible), SP eats my CPU. What should I lower to fix this?

Here’s a solution: Don’t play Simple Planes. JK, I would lower physics, as it makes every part much more interactive and therefore much more laggy. Turning down terrain and graphics wouldn’t hurt either.

@bjac0 never mind it was a mod's fault

@bjac0 I'll send you a video of it in a little bit

@The1Big1Finger1111 wdym "it's a ton of random stuff coming out of everything"

@bjac0 it isn't frame rate, it's a ton of random stuff coming out of everything similar to running out of ram (I checked task manager it doesn't even use half of my ram). Should I still lower the same things?

reduce physics and terrain, or use lower part count aircraft, if you're using integrated graphics then lowering graphics settings can help but in most cases won't make a major impact in frame rate

@asteroidbook345 oh yeah then you're using integrated graphics which is pretty bad for graphics rendering, that'd explain why reducing reflections increases frame rate

@asteroidbook345 probably means your gpu(if you have one) is being strained

Reflections hardly impact the frame rate at all. @asteroidbook345

Physics is the main thing that impacts frame rate.
Just note that at low physics joints become more floppy and some planes don’t quite fly the same.
