If you have a keyboard, and you want to take a single part off an unattached cluster of parts without dragging the parts everywhere, press control while taking the part off. Bam. It comes off without dragging the entire thing around.
All this time when I’ve been building on a cluster of unattached parts, I’ve been attaching a cockpit and doing this. Now I don’t need to!

I have over 2300 hours playing this game according to steam... and I haven’t discovered this feature until now. 😂
Oh yeah and a couple of months ago Chancey21 told me that when you press control while nudging, you nudge at 8 times the speed. No need to constantly adjust the nudge increment when nudging a long way!

Hold down control while moving the camera, and you won't accidentally select/grab any parts. useful for moving the cockpit while adjusting things inside the plane or in the cockpit.
