@Brendorkus same, when i found out and that stuff didnt have to touch to be attached i thought it was a glitch. and thought i was the first to find it. i learnt quickly that i was stupid and didn't get it
even easier way, put it anywhere on the fuselage, open the fine tuner and nudge it in. The fine tuner is in the tab with the curved arrow, above the part settings on the right hand side when hovering over a part, and in the submenu with an adjustable wrench.

I figured out how to nudge blocks way too long after I should have. I’d hate for it to happen to other users

easy, you zoom in onto the fuselage and once your inside, you can drag a part inwards into it.
