The current time system is unorthodox

There are twelve months in a year... Everyone knows that. Divide twelve months in decimals... No one can do that. Just something I noticed, it is extremely difficult to take a decimal of twelve, it is much easier to take a fraction of twelve. Such as User joined 2 1/3 years ago. This is also why we use decimals for the metric system, as it is in multiples of ten. Such as 1000meters=1kilometer. Americans, in the other hand, over complicate everything (Yes, I am an American) and have uneven measurements. Such as 1 mile=5280ft. I know decimals are more professional and cooler than fractions, but this bothers me sometimes. And no, I don’t have OCD...
